Goal: To help you win, LinkStrategies runs a comprehensive field program that combines the best of technology with old-fashioned shoe leather. With the experience of several cycles, the field program has become a well-oiled machine. Fuse campaign management and organizing with research and communications to get a firm with the skills and creativity that helps campaigns win and organizations succeed.
Record: LinkStrategies takes pride in our record of success in the field. In 2004, LinkStrategies’ innovative filed tactics helped Iowa become one of only three states to win Democratic seats in the state legislature. We also directed field operations on several successful job-creating gaming referendums and a successful E-911 referendum to modernize critical emergency services in Des Moines. Since 2002, LinkStrategies field efforts have also been used to win campaigns for Sen. Tom Harkin (D-IA), Gov. Tom Vilsack (D-IA), Rep. Leonard Boswell (D-IA) and several Indiana mayors.
Experience: With years of experience under our belt, we know what it takes to win and, frankly, we’ve got it down to a science. Organizing a good Marginal Voter Program (targeting poorly performing voters), get-out-the-vote, and absentee ballot canvassing can make the difference in close elections. Our field program realizes all of these elements with professional accomplishment and expertise.
Technology: Hard-working, old fashioned shoe leather will allow you keep up withyour opponent in the field, but technology can help you beat your opponent. Jeff Link created the modern-day use of incorporating hand-held computers with door-to-door canvassing. This has drastically increased the efficiency of identifying voters and get them out to the polls. The LinkStrategies field program accurately identifies likely voters based on issue and candidate preference. With this valuable info, campaigns can more effectively target mailings, auto dials and volunteer people-power.
